When experimenting around, I was playing around with the paints and applying them using the corner of an ordinary cleaning sponge. I felt this gave a great effect and was perfect for what I was looking for - perfect for creating the illusion of exploding flames and the fiery heat. Lastly I painted on the lightsabers - A thin white line with a tiny tint of electric blue which was then given a soft glow by going back and using the sponge technique.
